C-Series –
Innovative Claw Technology

The C-Series claw pumps and compressors of Elmo Rietschle generate contact-free vacuum or compressed air efficiently and economically. This is possible because of the principle of internal compression. The gas is pre-compressed within the compressing chamber and is then discharged.

This leads to an evident energy saving compared to rotary lobe blower designs without internal compression.

Zephyr KLR Pressure and vacuum in single stage from claw pump!!

At the heart of the Zephyr KLR is a patented, three lobe claw system, making it the first claw pump capable of producing pressure and vacuum in a single stage.
The use of intermediate suction ports makes it a highly efficient pressure/vacuum design, and unlike single claw pumps it offers constant compression.
The triple-lobe claw also dampens pulsation in the suction and discharge pipe work, further reducing the noise level of the pump.
Unlike traditional rotary lobe designs, the operating efficiency of the Zephyr KLR - and hence its low installed motor power, is achieved by internal compression of the gas.

The multi-claw has no (wear sensitive) discharge valves, since the rotation of the claws opens and closes the suction and discharge channels.
Maintenance is kept to a minimum, since the contra-rotating claws operate without contact.
Fine tolerances are maintained by a high precision gear drive and hence, neither lubrication, nor wearing part replacements are needed in the pump chamber.
Zephyr KLR offers vacuum up to 600 mbar (abs), and pressure up to 1 bar overpressure, simultaneously, during continuous operation.
Five models offer nominal capacities from 100m3/hour to 500 m3/hour, and an optional integral frequency converter is offered to exactly adjust capacity and vacuum/pressure, to customer requirements.

Elmo Rietschle offers dry running and oil lubricated rotary vane pumps which cover a wide performance range.

The eco-friendly dry running rotary vane pumps are used for vacuum, pressure and combined pressure and vacuum applications. The time-tested oil lubricated rotary vane machines are typically used for generating vacuum.

G-Series –

BLIZZARD

This side channel range includes vacuum pumps and compressors in selected sizes on a BORA base with speed control. The three-phase motor has an integral frequency inverter. With higher speeds much higher vacuum and pressure can be achieved as reserve. It is not necessary to install a bigger blower size.

Such flexibilities are important for applications with changing operating parameters. Available in 11 sizes with differential pressures of -470 to +720 mbar and volume flows of 30 to 1060 m3/h

TWISTER

S-Series –
The Screw: rugged and durable

The S-VSA and S-VSB dry running, contact-free screw vacuum pumps are primarily used in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries for processing applications. A contamination with oil or other operating liquids is impossible. Several pump sizes are available with ATEX certification.

We are currently launching the new V-VSI screw vacuum pump – the first of its kind – for industrial applications such as packaging and drying.

The Twister VSB uses a high-efficiency, dual pitch screw design. Two non-contacting parallel screws rotate inside the pump housing and move process gases axially from the inlet to the discharge port. Heavy duty external timing gears maintain clearances and absorb loads.
