Sublime is designed to remove lime deposits and water scale from water-wetted internal surfaces of commercial and industrial process equipment.

Summit SUBLIME Industrial Water Descaler

Sublime is designed to safely remove lime deposits and water scale from water-wetted internal surfaces of commercial and industrial processing equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, plant boilers and piping equipment in refineries, paper mills, chemical plants, foundries, rubber plants and other industries. Sublime is most effective when circulated through the equipment to be cleaned, as long as there is adequate venting for the carbon dioxide created in the cleaning process.

Circulation should be up-flow if at all possible, taking between two to four hours to complete. If the equipment is clean (and Sublime has not changed color) it can be saved and used again. Sublime dissolves 1.5 pounds (0.68 kgs) of Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) per gallon.

Water Scale Solvent Alimex is a water-based chemical formulated to safely clean lime scale and corrosion from water-wetted surfaces. It contains wetting agents, corrosion inhibitors and degreasing compounds to help penetrate and carry away the scale and corrosion. This product is specifically designed to be used on equipment that contains aluminum that cannot be safely cleaned with other scale removing compounds.

When used as directed, Alimex is non-corrosive and will not affect the following metals: aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, admiralty metal, copper, iron, lead, PVC plastic, polyethylene, rubber, leather, and most other materials found in water wetted equipment. Alimex is not recommended for zinc, galvanized steel, or alloys of magnesium.

Summit SUM-KOOL Descaler

Sum-Kool® is an effective and efficient heat transfer system cleaner designed to remove encrusted lime scale, rust, and corrosion products from water-wetted surfaces. Sum-Kool® is a neutral compound (no acid) and is based on chelating agents. The problems caused by water related scale, rust, and corrosion affect every industry from nuclear power plants to automobile engines. It has been shown that 1/16 of an inch of scale is equivalent to approximately 3 inches of steel in heat transferability.

Sum-Kool® is non-toxic, non-hazardous and biodegradable, is non-acid and does not require neutralization, operates in a pH range from 6.0 to 8.5 and can be safely disposed in municipal water handling operations. Sum-Kool® is non-corrosive and will not adversely affect the following materials: stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, admiralty metal, copper, iron, lead, aluminum, PVC plastic, polyethylene, rubber, leather, or any metal or material normally found in water-wetted equipment.

Summit VARNASOLV Compressor Cleaner

Summit SUR-CLEAN Degreaser

The use of petroleum lubricants, primarily automatic transmission fluid (ATF), in rotary screw and rotary vane compressors results in the formation of varnish and carbon. The varnish and carbon is deposited throughout the system and can cause a number of serious operational problems, resulting in excessively high maintenance costs.

Summit's Varnasolv, a compressor cleaner, can help alleviate the problems caused by varnish and carbon. Varnasolv is designed to be used as an additive in the lubricant to remove and suspend varnish while the compressor is in operation. Using Varnasolv eliminates the need for disassembling the compressor for cleaning. For maximum benefit, use Varnasolv prior to each lubricant change.Varnasolv is recommended in rotary screw air, gas and refrigeration compressors, centrifugal compressors, gearboxes, diesel and natural gas engines, hydraulic systems and heat transfer systems.
